I’m not really sure what to make of this, THE ARKANSAS CARBON DIOXIDE STORAGE ACT. So many questions, such as WHY? WHO BENEFITS? It has a lot of co-sponsors, looks like they want to make it a law to store CO2 but then tax the ones who run the storage plant.
Is it all about the money? A pre-emptive move against the EPA? A non-productive “jobs” program, create a need and watch the jobs come in? Eminent Domain is used in this bill, two words I despise, sanctioned thievery. Sure they pay, at lousy prices and you can’t say no. Your thoughts?
