Learning Under Jesus: A Chronological Walk Through The Gospels

A couple of years ago I began a study of the Gospels soon after I was saved. “What’s the best way to learn how to follow Jesus,” I thought, “than doing it the same way the disciples did.”

In my Bible is a section called the Harmony of the Gospels, which has the parallel passages, and was in the order scholars believe everything occurred. That is my outline for discipleship from Jesus himself.

Then one day while compiling all my study notes onto index cards I realized…every card could be a blog post. The idea for this series was born. My editor said she was surprised I hadn’t done it sooner.

Yeah, yeah.

New to following Christ, or been on the path for awhile, I hope this archive to the posts helps.

Note: This series is written as a first-person narrative in order to present Jesus in the context he walked with the unknown disciple that narrates presenting my thoughts and sparking more thoughts with his questions. Enjoy.
