Guns Save Lives, Contrary To What You Hear

Time for another installment showing all the good and lawful uses of those “evil” guns. Looking through the NRA armed citizen archives then searching for the source I’m going to bring you a few stories. Starting with…

Lightning Strikes Twice For a Burgalar

In the small Alabama town of Pintlala a man in dire needs of a better hobby pulled up to a house in a stolen truck and broke into a empty home. The homeowner gets home and watches as this guy strolls out of his house. He pulls his pistol as the guy tries to get into his truck to leave, but the resident wasn’t having none of that. He puts a bullet into the tire and takes the guy’s keys. Who then runs away as the homeowner calls 911. As the cops start looking they get another call that another home was broken into. The woman was asleep and woke up to the sound of someone in her house. She grabs gun and draws down on the same guy that just B&E’d the other house and thinking he has the worse luck. And he ran like hell to be caught again later. Story here

Dirtbags Outgunned

Three guys bust into a home to find the first layer of a Security System in the way, they owner’s dog. So they put a .22 into the dog, which was stupid, because now they woke up the owner, who’s already mad because someone kicked in his door. They look up to stare down the barrel of a shotgun. And seeing how they have a gun and used it, he decided not to risk it, and opened fire killing one, wounding another, and the other ran as fast as he could. Story here

Burglar Calls 911 Scared He’ll Be Shot

Dirtbag breaks in, decides he needs a shower, and while in there, he hears the homeowner come home with their dogs. So he hides in the closet, dials 911 saying ‘I broke in, and I think the people who own the home have a gun.’ The homeowner was also on the phone with 911. Story here

Three stories, criminals kicking open doors and finding not ADT, but Glock Security Systems. Homeowners who grab 1911’s before dialing 911, because they know cops are minutes away when seconds count. Or the deterring effect of the mere thought that they maybe shot. Crimes stopped, with minimum shots fired. Guns save lives.
